What is God? Tumbling Tumbling Tumbling Down the hole I go No rabbit to tell me if I'm late Losing track of time I turn in the darkness Who is the queen to sentence me to death? "You're here on grace." But aren't we all or is this our sentence? To live only to die. To create, knowing we will never get the full earnings from our labor? Who is really alive but those who do knowing the only thing that "matters" is what we leave behind. Who is really alive? Even Jesus only lived to die. ∽ Song of the Day

Magic. Jehovah. Love. These are the words I use to describe what inspires me. My sisters and brothers are magical, illuminating the world with their laughter and selves and art. Jehovah is the one who created all the good, the beautiful. Music is a gift from Jehovah, food too. For those alone I am eternally grateful. And Love. Without it I would be nothing. Even just being alive without Love is a wasted existence. MXYRSE @twitter.com/MXRYSE Song of the DayAnd the way his hands are So perfect in mine You'd think they were made for me. ~ Song of the DayWhen I was little my mom would kneel close to my face and ask me one of two questions, “Do you know I love you?” and, “Do you know you’re beautiful?” to which I would reply, “Yes!” and then she would ask, “Yes?! How do you know?” and I would say, “Because you tell me all the time!” When I was little I never felt ugly or stupid or unloved. No one but a few boys at school ever made me feel less than I am and I am blessed to say my childhood was pretty fucking amazing. When I got older however I forgot to love myself. I forgot that Jade had to give love to Jade in order for her to survive, so, I started to give into depression and anxiety and very unhealthy habits. I stopped taking care of myself. Doing things like binge drinking, binge eating and then on top of that, not sleeping. All of these are very self-destructive. See, self-love can’t be taught, it just can’t. You have to grow into it like any other relationship. And you can’t truly, fully love another person without loving yourself first. Even Jesus said in the Bible to love your neighbor as you love yourself. The amount of things I’ve done to hurt myself is… heartbreaking. Now I am learning to love myself, fight for myself and most importantly be honest. Song of the Day |
